Anantnag, Oct 24: Ahead of the biannual Darbar Move, the Hizbul Mujahideen militant outfit has threatened moving employees of 'dire consequences' if they moved down to Jammu. "We warn all government employees not to move to Jammu with the Darbar. Anyone found defying this programme will face action," an unidentified militant says in a 7-minute video. The authenticity of the video is however yet to be confirmed. The militant also warns traders, transporters and others against defying the hartal calendar. "We appeal to the nation to remain committed, and at the same time warn cross sections of society of serious repercussions for defying the programme. All those elements, which help India to justify and strength its occupation in Kashmir, will also face serious action in future," he adds. "We warn people to remain aware of the nefarious designs of pro-Indian politicians and ensure social boycott of them," says the commander who is flanked by four other armed militants in the video. Commending its cadre for snatching over 40 assault rifles from cops in south Kashmir, the militant commander threatens more such strikes in future. "Our squad has done commendable job by snatching over 40 rifles, and weapon snatching will be intensified," says the commander. He also asks cops to refrain from being part of "India's military oppression and suppression." "In the past too we had warned the cops to stop unleashing terror on fellow Kashmiris, but it seems they have sold their conscience to India. This should be treated as final warning, and if they don't stop, serious actions will be taken and even will be killed," he adds. |
