Classical group song competition held | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Oct 25: Music binds soul, hearts and emotions. Music is best method for relaxation. With an aim of honing singing skills of the students, Jammu Sanskriti School, Jammu organized Inter house classical group song competition. The programme began with lighting of lamp. The competition started with soothing song from Optimism house. Competition reached to zenith with excitement and absorbing competition among participants. Each house showed their mastery over voice modulation, sur, rhythm and other important aspects of singing. All the houses were eager to emerge as victorious but it was the Passion house which bagged first prize. The judge for the competition was Yash Raj Yash distinguished in the respective field of music. Principal cum vice-chairperson Rohini Aima complimented the winning team and members of music department for putting such a melodious extravaganza. She thanked the esteemed judge for sparing his precious time. All the co-ordinators were present in the event. Kulwant and Surya Dinesh (music teachers) prepared the students for the event. |
