JAMMU, Nov 24: Right under the nose of serving and retired DIGs and IGs, fate stricken Burmese have allegedly become part of the flesh trade business in the city of temples.
Police sources said that they are receiving complaints of the involvement of Burmese nationals in the flesh trade. The 782 families from Burma are living on a piece of Land in Kiryani Talab area of Bhathindi near Narwal in the outskirts of Jammu city. Local populace has been kind enough to have come to the rescue of these families who have come from Burma.

Jammu, Nov 24: Chief minister Omar Abdullah's statement of possible NC-Cong alliance for the next Assembly elections is seen as nervous signs in the party. Political observers feel it's a sign of weakening of NC in the state especially in the valley.
"It's first acknowledgment from the NC of the ground reality. The party is slipping politically in the valley and it's for this reason Chief minister is trying to cozying up with the Congress," said a senior Congress leader.
