Omar questions Rahul's leadership, Farooq defends him
Fall of the Congress
12/10/2013 11:01:50 PM
Rustam JAMMU, Dec 10: The massive defeat of the Congress in Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Rajasthan and Delhi and a spectacular victory of the BJP in all these four states, including the two Congress-ruled states of Delhi and Rajasthan, has evoked a contradictory response from National Conference working president and Jammu & Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah and party president and Union Minister Farooq Abdullah. The ruling National Conference had promised to take decision in the Cabinet meeting on 73rd amendment of the Indian Constitution but no announcement was made regarding extending this amendment in Jammu and Kashmir in the Cabinet meeting which was held on December 9. Instead of taking any decision, it wa...
