| Lone inspects Women’s hostel, proposed site for swimming-pool in MAM College | | ‘Says teacher should be role model for students’ | | |

jammu, Apr 24: Minister for Higher Education Mr. Mohammad Akbar Lone today visited MAM College, Jammu and inspected pace of on-going construction work on Women’s Hostel and Indoor Sports Complex. Rs.2.25 crore has already been sanctioned on these projects.
The Minister also inspected the proposed site for construction of Swimming Pool at MAM College, Jammu. He directed the concerned to start construction work on the project immediately.
During the visit, the Minister was apprised that Rs.1.00 crore has already been sanctioned by the University Grants Commission for the project.
Mr. Lone directed the executing agencies to gear up their field functionaries and speed up the pace of work on all projects under execution in the College and complete them in a stipulated time frame.
The Minister called for close coordination between the College Management and executing agencies so that the projects completed well in time. He also asked them to work in unison.

BANI, Apr 24: Chief Minister Omar Abdullah Wednesday asked the Union Government to give clear cut message to China on intrusion issue adding that this kind of situations have always put the people, living in frontier areas, under difficulties besides hampering the process of development.
