SRINAGAR, May 16: To keep the waters of world famous Dal and Negeen lakes of the Valley clean, fresh and pollution free, the Minister for Urban Development and Urban Local Bodies Mr. Nawang Rigzin Jora today conducted surprise visits of STP Brari Numbal and STP Nallah, Amir Khan and took stock of the present status of the both the Sewerage Treat Plants (STP).
The Minister was accompanied by Chairman LAWDA, Mr. Irfan Shah and other senior officers of various concerned agencies.

SRINAGAR, May 16:The Jammu and Kashmir Cements Ltd. has achieved a business turnover of Rs.116 crore against sale of 1.68 lakh Metric Tons cement during 2012-13which has earned a net profit of Rs. 4.00 Crores after accounting for all expenditures, while as the Management has fixed a target of earning Rs.180 crore for this year.

SRINAGAR: Saying that the implementation of National Saffron Mission are now showing desired results on the ground, Minister for Agriculture today stressed upon the Chief Engineer(CE) Mechanical to speed up the execution of deep dug well at the earliest, so that the saffron growers being facilitated with irrigation.
The Minister gives these directions at high level meeting convened to review the execution process of Deep Dug wells in saffron bound area. The irrigation facility to saffron growers is one of the important component of National Saffron Mission.
