| Pak Prisoner brutally attacked in Jammu Jail | | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, May 3: A Pakistani prisoner in a central jail here was seriously injured today after being beaten by another inmate following an altercation, a day after Indian convict Sarabjit Singh died after a brutal attack by fellow inmates in a Lahore prison.
52-year-old Sanuallah, a resident of Sialkot in Pakistan, was immediately shifted from high-security Kot Balwal jail to Government Medical College hospital and later rushed to PGI Chandigarh in an air ambulance after doctors said his condition was critical.
"Sanaullah, who is critical, has been flown in an air ambulance to PGI Chandigarh from Jammu around 5.15 PM," a senior doctor of Government Medical College in Jammu told reporters.
He said the prisoner is very critical with severe head injury, multiple fractures and a portion of brain damaged in the attack.

JAMMU, May 3: Minister for PHE, Irrigation and Flood Control, Sham Lal Sharma, today inaugurated a Tubewell at Jadh Sardaran Tehsil Akhnoor constructed under Augmentation of WSS Bhalwal Brahmana with a cost of Rs. 85.00 lakh.
Speaking on the occasion, Sham said that with the commissioning of this tube well the people of Jad Sardaran, Mohalla Malley and Tibbi will get adequate water supply.

“Acting on a tip-off about the presence of militants in the forests, a search party of Special Operations Group (SOG) of police, 21 RR, 6 RR, 92 Battalion of CRPF started a combing operation to flush out the militants,” police sources told reporters.
