| 12 children injured in accident | | | early times report
Rajouri, Jan 21: Twelve minor school going children were injured in tragic road accident near Hamilton Bridge at Rajouri today, when a vehicle they were travelling in skidded off the road and rolled down into deep gorge.
Reports said that at about 9 am early morning today, a TATA Magic bearing registration number JK11-4774 on its way from Gurjan to Rajouri was skidded off the track owing to alleged negligence of driver and rolled down into Nalah.
All twelve school children reportedly belongs to Convent School, Rajouri and having the age limit if 12-13 years, who were immediately taken to district hospital by local people and teams of district administration for medical treatment, but according to sources all of them were discharged after giving first aid treatment in hospital.
Police said that they have lodged an FIR under section 279,337 RPC against driver Pappu Sharma for negligence driving. Pappu has also received severe injuries in this incident.
