PoK refugees hold protest

Jammu, Jan 21: Pakistan Occupied Kashmir (PoK) refugees, seeking settlement of their cases have held protest demonstration at Mubarak Mandi, here today.
As per press release, hundreds of Refugee families from Mirpur Bhimber Deva, Watala Chamb, Kotli, Palandary, Poonch, Bagh and Muzafrabad were gathered at Mubarak Mandi and lodged protest.
POK Refugee families, of 1947 1965, 1971 alleged that their settlement was intentionally being dela-yed by government.
They said, "Despite of many protest, rallies and hunger strike nothing has been done so far to meet our long demands. A memorandum was presented on August 22, 2012 to the, UPA chairperson, Sonia Gandhi, unfortunately nothing has been done by the state government so far."
