| Selfless service to mankind is service to Almighty : Rana | | Swami Gurdeep Giri Ji delivers sermons | | early times report
Jammu, Jan 27: Provincial President J&K National Conference, Jammu province Devender Singh Rana said that that true, selfless service to the mankind without any personal, material or vested interest is a service to God Almighty.
Rana who was addressing a largely attended congregation at Satsang of Guru Ravi Dass ji here today said that spiritualism can lead to peace of mind and calm the turbulent minds in the material world of today which will in turn pave way for a societal renaissance .
He said those who preach hatred in the name of religion are devils, who do not understand religion and Godliness.
Paying rich tributes to Guru Ravi Dass ji, Rana said that he was an epitome of societal reforms and humanity. He said Guru Ji worked tirelessly to create a world where all are equal and where love is the only bond of relationship between different human beings.
Rana said the state has passed through difficult times in the last two decades and now under the dynamic leadership of Omar Abdullah a new era of peace, progress and prosperity has ushered into the state and it should be the effort of all right thinking people to join hands to strengthen the gains of the last two years and ensure that Jammu and Kashmir once again regains its lost glory and emerges as a peaceful, developed state.
Shri Shri 108 Swami Gurdeep Giri Ji Maharaj delivered sermons on the teachings of Guru Ravi Dass ji to a large congregation from all across the Jammu province.
