| Tainted officials receive undue promotions on Republic Day | | It happens only in India! | | Javaid naikoo
srinagar, Jan 27: What goes beyond human understanding is how people involved in fake appointments and promotions as per their will and taste in Government departments are awarded with trophies that too on function of a country celebrating its republic day.
Much to the dismay of the local people, a minister conferred awards on two tainted officials involved in fake appointments on the Republic Day function at Shopian today.
The officials have ben identified as Two persons namely Sheeraz Ahmad Thoker of Ratnipora and Mushtaq Ahmad Padroo of Shams-ipora Shopian. They were recently in news after being exposed by Early.
Sheeraz Ahmad Thoker who was given award today for his excellent performance in the department as per the words of Deputy Commissioner Shopian, Muhammad Javaid Khan, he was actually appointed in 2008 on S.R.O basis in the said department.
However today he is enjoying the post of junior assistant in the department due to undue promotions after erring official documents over the years in the department.
Whereas Mushtaq Ahmad Padroo firstly created a post in the department in 2011 and later appointed his son Zarak Jahan Padroo under the order no DCS/estt/11/695-697 on the post after using his command over other officials in the department. Having complete know how of using fraudulent measures Mushtaq made a fraud date of birth certificate of Zarak Jahan and extended his period cleverly under an unknown order which is yet to be checked by officials in the department.
Deputy Commissioner Shopian said that both of them received awards for their performance in the department and case of illegal appointments and undue promotions against them is pending and inquiry is going on.
"Their involvement in the case and receiving awards today has nothing to do with each other."Deputy Commissioner said Pertinent to mention here that all other officials posted in the shopian including assistant commissioner revenue shopian and social welfare officer showed unawareness about the list of awardees framed before this function and on contacting everybody said that it belongs to Deputy Commissioner only. |
