| 1 killed, 5 injured in separate road mishaps | | | early times report JAMMU, Jan 27: One person was killed while four others sustained injuries when a tempo they were travelling met with an accident in Trala area of Rajouri. As per police sources, a tempo with number JK02AP 0795 was on its way to Kotranka from Rajouri when it met with an accident in Trala resulting death of one passenger and injuring four others. Person who have died has been identified as Kair Singh son of Chatar Singh resident of Bakori while those who have sustained injuries are Surjit Singh son of Sukhdev Singh resident of Bakori, Raman Kumar driver son of Chuni lal resident of Jawahar nagar, Omkar Singh son of Karnail Singh resident of Kandi, Pritam Singh son of Chatar Singh resident of Bakori. Police has also registered a case in this regard. Meanwhile, in Kishtwar one person identified as Rajesh Pal Gupta (35 yrs) son of Ved Prakesh Gupta resident of Gudhali Chowk Kishtwar got seriously injured when his vehicle bearing registration No: JK02AK-9312 met with an accident near Phugumar some 18 Kms from District Headquarter Kishtwar on Kishtwar-Jammu National Highway. According to the reports, Rajesh was on its way to home from Jammu his vehicle plunged into 300 feet deep gorge as a result of which he received fatal head injuries. After receiving the news about the accident, police along with the help of local people rushed him to District Hospital Kishtwar where doctors declared his condition as critical and later shifted him to GMC Jammu for advance treatment.
