| Priyanka brings laurels for state | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT Kathua, Jan 27 : NCC cadet Priyanka Choudhary of BA-I of Government Degree College, Kathua has brought laurels for the state by bagging first and second position in Debate, Sole Singing and Flag Briefing Area respectively at prestigious "National Integration Camp" (NIC) conducted at Kollam, Kerala. As per press release, two Girls from state selected eight cadets for NIC Kerala out of which four namely Alka Devi, Akashi, Priyanka Choudhary and Poonam Khajuria were from Government Degree College, Kathua. Seventeen NCC Directorates' participated in the above mention camp. Due to the efforts and achievements of our cadets J&K Directorate was declared as 2nd best Directorate. Such camps give a great exposure to the cadets and help them to interact with cadets from the various parts of the country. Principal of the college Dr. Nater Singh congratulated Priyanka for her achievements and encouraged all NCC cadets to grab such opportunities and give their best and set examples for the following students. Principal also appreciated the constant efforts and devotion of NCC officer Dr. Anupma Arora in raising the standards of NCC Infantry Girls' wing in the college in addition to the academic and hostel duties. |
