Jammu, Jan 27: Power grid Northern Region Transmission System-II celebrated 64th Republic Day at Grid Bhawan, near Bahu Plaza Jammu with gaiety & enthusiasm.
On the occasion, S. K. Sharma, General Manager Incharge (Projects) was the Chief Guest, unfurled the tricolor. Senior officials including Meena Sharma, President Shrishti Mahila Samiti, employees, their families and children were present on the occasion.
In his brief address, S.K. Sharma gave a brief account of the fruits reaped by the citizens of India after attaining republic Status.
Sharma praised families of POWERGRID employees for rendering unstinted and unconditional support to employees in discharging their duties.
Fancy dress show by children and patriotic songs by members of Mahila Samiti and children of the employees, fun games for employee's distribution of Prizes to the winners of various competitions Organized and community lunch was also organized on this occasion.
