| PNB Officers union holds General Body Meeting | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu, Jan 27 : All India Punjab National Bank Officers Association (Affiliated to AIBOC), J&K circle held its general body meeting at Hotel Asia on 27th Jan 2013.
At the outset with the tradition of lightening of DEEP, a group of militancy affected children from Aditi Pratisthan presented colourful and impressing Saraswati Vandana and lastly sung the institutiona prayer. PNB Officers Association presented a cheque of Rs. 11000/- to them as a token of love and help. Com Dalip Saha, All India General Secretary and com. President J&K Circle Com. C.L.Bhat while welcoming the general members and all other guests emphasized the need for standing united to stress an opposition for the plans of the govt. for making any reforms aimed at subjecting the employees and officers to a difficult situation. Com Satish Khajuria All India vice president and circle secretary J&K presented his report and informed about the latest developments those have taken place at the international, national, industry and the bank level. Sh Shoukat Ahmed, officer union's representative from Kashmir valley also spoke on the issues and problems which officers are facing.
Key note address was presented by Com. Dalip Saha General Secretary AIPNBOA and he threw light on Charter of demands presented to IBA for the next wage revision .Com. Saha also spoke on the other important matters of the association especially concerning D A C matters. Chief Guest Ashok Gupta, DGM J&K Circle, also spoke and assured all officers of a harmonious relation at the local level.
A session of felicitation was also conducted to honour the officers retiring on 31/01/2013 and mementos were presented to them. Vote of thanks was presented by Com. Uma Kant Sharma vice president J&K Circle. |
