Kishtwar, Mar 20: Security forces claimed to have recovered a militant hideout in tehsil Chatroo of district Kishtwar and recovered 25 Kilograms of explosive including 3 IEDs besides large quantity of arms and ammunition.
According to reports, the soldiers of 11 RR and Chatroo police launched a search operation in Dichar area of Sigdi in tehsil Chatroo and found a natural cave. During search of the cave, a war like store was found including Indian grenade 20, Chinese grenade 7, Gelatin sticks 30 having weight 7 Kg, electronic fuse with detonators 498, one smoke grenade, battery 1, codex wire 100 meter, TNT slabs (600 grams) and 3 ready to use IEDs concealed inside the polythene bags. |
