Jammu, Mar 20: A resolution moved by NC member Devender Singh Rana condemning the unruly behaviour shown by BJP legislator, Jugal Kishore towards lady Minister was unanimously passed by the Legislative Council today.
As soon as proceedings for the day started in the house today, all NC members including two Congress members Gulam Nabi Monga and Jehangir Mir stood on their demanding resolution to condemn the behavior of BJP legislator, Jugal Kishore towards Minister Saikna Itoo. Rana said, "The behavior of Jugal Kishore is highly condemnable and it is most unfortunate incident.
A resolution must be adopted to condemn such a gory behavior on a female member". For a while Chairman did not concede to the demand and said, "The incident has occurred in the lower house and it has no related here". But after the vociferous demand of the members, Chairman asked Rana to submit the request in the writing. Later the resolution condemning the unruly behaviour shown by BJP legislator, Jugal Kishore towards lady Minister was unanimously passed. |
