| Rafiq alleges high headedness by Chairman, stages walkout from Council | | | Et Plus Report
Jammu, Mar 20: Alleging high headedness by Chairman Amrit Malhotra, Panthers Party member Rafiq Shah today staged walkout from Legislative Council. Rafiq created ruckus during the question raised by Congress member Gulam Nabi Monga regarding the construction of Jatti Bridge at Baramulla. While raising supplementary, Chairman asked Rafiq to be specific and only ask the relevant question. Rafiq got agitated on Chair's direction and tore his question paper in protest while leveling allegations against Chairman Amrit Malhotra of high headedness. Rafiq trooped to the well of the house and staged a sit in Dharna. He shouted slogans of "Gunda Gardi Nahin Chalege". After sloganeering for a few minutes, Rafiq staged walkout. Congress member Ravinder Sharma while condemning the behavior of Rafiq Shah said, "It is very unfortunate that member is creating ruckus every other day in the house".On the sit in Dharna, NC member Davinder Singh Rana mocked, "In the past Prof. Bhim Singh also staged dhanra in similar manner". |
