Rajouri, Mar 20: Five persons have been arrested by police at Rajouri, who were allegedly involved in manhandling, thrashing a person and damaging his house hold items and car, over a dispute of lending some money.
The incident took place on Tuesday evening in village Panjgrain, wherein at about 5.30 pm Kapil along with Sat Pal, Ashok Kumar, Imran all resident of ward No 13 and Imitiaz of village Patrara entered the house of Yousuf, who was out of village, and had quarrel with Tasleema Begam wife of Yussuf and his younger brother Mohd Khali. "The verbal arguments took ugly turn and all the suspects thrashed the family members of Yousuf. Moreover, Kapil also opened fire from his licensed revolver.
Tasleema got injured during scuffle and all the suspect fled from the village, when some villager reached the spot" police said. Tasleema later approached the police and after her statement and medical check up police registered a case against Kapil and his colleagues under sections 307,450/354/147/148/149/427/323/ and 3/25 Indian Arms Act (FIR22/13).
All the accused have been arrested by the police and were produced before the Magistrate today and were remanded in police custody till March,25 and also seized revolver of Kapil Sharma. |
