Jammu, Mar 20: Kranti Dal leaders Wednesday said that state government was not installing statues of national heroes in the chowks of Jammu city. “Government is not installing statues of national heroes in chowks. Bhagat Singh Chowk in Jewel is still not having a statute despite a platform for it. Same is the case with statue for Dhanvantri near Panama Chowk, where a platform has been erected 13 years back,” Kranti Dal State General Secretary, Pritam Sharma, Youth President Rajinder Bhagat, City President Tarun Gupta, Vijay Kumar, Chander Kumar in a statement and claimed that the government was not giving the martyrs due respect. “Even in the Assembly, the government is supporting terrorists and anti Indians,” they alleged. “Chief Minister calls Afzal Guru, the mastermind behind attack on Parliament as ‘SAHIB.’ This is why the separatists are roaming free as government speaks their language. Those taking the side of terrorists and making hue and cry in the assembly are spared but those who talk of nationality are pushed out and banned from assembly,” they claimed.
