Jammu, Mar 20: The Mubarak Mandi Heritage Complex reverberated with applauds and guffaws from the present audience when AIR (All India Radio) Jammu staged 'Hasya -Radio Natak Sandhya' to mark upcoming festivity of Holi.
Two comic radio plays were staged in the Mubarak Mandi Heritage Complex by the Drama section of AIR Jammu.
The evening started off with the staging of Mahesh Sharma's Hindi play -'Dadu Hai Na' in which L D Shastri, Anoop Verma, Tillotama Raj Singh, Ajay Khajuria, Laxmi Tagotra and Parveen Sharma performed various characters. The audience was left spellbound by the enactment of Radio drama.
Another Dogri play- 'Naman Zamana', written Shiv Mehta also kept the audience spell bound. "J CBharati, Janak Khajuria, M P Sharma, Santosh Sangra, J R Sagar, Nirmal Vikram, Suresh Kumar and Rakesh Kumar performed different characters of the play while background music was composed by Sunil Sharma on synthesizer.
The plays were directed by Sanjeev Sharma, Incharge Drama Section. The programme was compered by Ravi Kant Sharma.
In the end Ravi Magotra, Programme Head, Radio Kashmir Jammu, presented vote of thanks to the Soujanya Sharma - Executive Director, Mubarak Mandi Heritage Complex and the Director Floriculture Kulbhushan Sharma. |
