| NSS unit of GGDCE visits Home for Aged, Infirm | | | Kathua, Mar 20 : NSS unit of Guru Gang Dev ji College of Education (GGDCE), Chhan Arorian today visited Home for the Aged and Infirm, Kathua.
According to press release, a group of sixty two students was flagged off by the Principal of the college Anju Verma. The unit was lead by the Programme Officer
Lukhinder Singh. As per the regular activities of the NSS directed by the Dr. Vishav Raksha the Programme Coordinator, NSS University of Jammu, the motive of the visit is to acquaint the NSS volunteers about the hardships being faced by the older people.
Student must learn how to do respect and keep sympathetic attitude towards the aged people. Programme officer said that aged people must be well cared off by their wards so that they are not compelled to live away from their families. The valuable experiences of aged people can be utilized and preserved only by doing their respect and care. |
