MTN appeals to provide waste-bins at Green belt park

Jammu, Jul 28: Director General of "Mother the Nature" SS Bijaral today appealed Housing Board and Fouriculture department to provide waste-bins at Green belt park Channi Himat to avoid throwing of wastage in park.
According to press release, SS Bijral said that the valuable public assets including Green Belt park and Channi Himat, once brought on ground at high cost and immense effort have been left to cry for care in our country.
He further said that green belt park was freed from land mafia by local residents and Housing board, but cleanliness of park was still a distant dream.
"Throwing litter around, disregarding civic responsibilities, is considered as birth right, practice", he said, adding that the visitors were blamed but concerned authorities were not questioned.
MTN activists called upon upon Housing Board/Flouriculture department to urgently provide well designed, purposeful wastebins at park.
