Jammu, Jul 28: President Loksabha Yough Congress Jammu-Poonch president Satish Sharma today appealed state government to improve sports infrastructure in Jammu division.
He was speaking in the culmination of Cricket tournament during final match held between Lion's Cricket Club and Star Cricket Club at Bawa Jullah Ground Gole Gujral Talab Tillo Jammu, in which team Star Cricket Club won the match.
While interacting with players and organizers he said that there was huge potential among budding players but due to lack of infrastructure and coaching facilities they did not achieve much.
He added that by involving youth in sports keeps them away from drugs as such sports make healthy youth leading to a healthy and prosperous Nation.
Prominent among other present on the occasion included Rahul Sharma Vice President Youth Congress Marh, Panch Anil Sharma, Maninder Singh, Surinder Singh ,Charanjeet Singh. |
