Jammu, Aug 11 : A body of a youth allegedly murdered was recovered from a nullah in New Plot, police sources said. One person was arrested while weapon of offence also has been seized by the police.
As per police sources, the incident of murder surfaced when police recovered a body from a nullah in New Plot locality. Police have arrested one Sonu Singh along with the weapon of offence, police added
"During investigation, the identity of the deceased was established as Rajinder Kumar son of Tirth Ram of New Plot, police said and further adding, "The body was later rushed to the GMC&H Jammu for postmortem."
During investigation Police also came to know that the youth was murdered by one Sonu Singh and some of his family members and the old enmity is stated to be the reason behind the killing. Police conducted raids and have arrested the accused besides seizing weapon of offence. Further investigation is in progress. |
