AISF expresses concern over condition of District Library

DODA, Sept 3: All India Students Federation (AISF) has criticized the Department of Libraries for not providing the basic facilities in District Library Doda. The AISF has expressed serious concern over the condition of the Library
The AISF team led by its incharge President Doda-Kishtwar belt, Mukesh K Parihar along with Vice President CVR Pankaj Sharma and Ranbir Singh visited and inspected the situation on their own.
They blamed the authorities for not providing adequate funds in any course so that the library could flourish. "Library is without proper ventilation, lacks proper infrastructure due to which the readers are facing problems," they said. Parihar said that the library has around 4500 registered members but it possess limited number of books. "Apart from general books there is no book available for KAS, IAS, IFS, JKCET, AIEEE or any other competitive exam," he added.
