Early Times Report POONCH, Sept 3: Flashing strong message to Pakistan Army from Kerni areas of LoC to stop targeting civilian areas in Poonch cease fire line, Member Legislative Assembly and National Conference leader Jan has said Pakistan should respect the ceasefire agreement and should not exercise damage to the poor civilian people living on Poonch LoC. Addressing people of forward areas of LoC in Kerni sector of Poonch, Ajaz Jan said that Pakistan Army should respect the ceasefire agreement of 2003 as build up on ceasefire line is creating harassment and damage to the people living on LoC. He said that recently in Kerni sector, two girls and a woman were injured in shelling while people face tension in Kerni, Sawjian, Gagrian, Chamber Kanari, Shahpur, Qasba, Degwar Terwa, Dhokri, Degwar, Chakan da Bagh, Salotri, Jhalas, KG Sector, Mankote, Patri, Balnoi and Balakote areas. He said that these people have frightened a lot and keeping in view the situation of poor people on LoC, Pakistan Army behave like civiliased Army and should not target the civilians of this side. "I want to send a strong message from this LoC village to Pakistan Army to stop targeting our poor people", he said. He said that since he is public representative of these people living on LoC, he want this border build up end at the earliest and appeal Pakistani establishment to instruct their Army to respect ceasefire agreement and don't target the civilian of LoC areas. |
