SRINAGAR, Sept 3: Court Road Club made it a 1-0 win against Al-Fatah Club in the ongoing Power Development Corporation (PDC) League Football Tournament of DFA Srinagar at Polo Ground, here.
In this Division-A match, Arif netted the lone goal from Court Road Club in the 22nd minute of the game. The second half remained barren amidst attacks and counter attacks from both the sides.
Meanwhile, in Super Division tie, played at the same venue, J&K Bank Academy defeated fighting Maharaja Sports by two goals to one. However, it was Maharaja Sports, who took the first lead striking in the 12th minute through Qumail.
The J&K Bank brought in the equalizer in the 38th minute. It was followed by a dilly dallying battle. It was in the 65th minute that J&K Bank Academy succeeded in their attempts on the net with Gulshan Kumar scoring the goal. |
