| Cong equally responsible for mounting woes of people: Bajwa | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Sept 3: Flaying Congress leadership for befooling people by issuing statements against National Conference, the Vice President of Peoples' Democratic Party (PDP) leader Trilok Singh Bajwa said today that Congress being partner of the government was equally responsible for non fulfillment of promises made with the people. Bajwa was addressing a function to welcome National Conference leader Yash Pal Bhagat, who along with hundreds of his supporters joined PDP here today. Bhagat had contested 2008 Assembly election from Bishnah constituency on the ticket of National Conference. He said that during the last nearly five years National Conference-Congress government has done nothing for to fulfill promises which were made with the people. He especially mentioned that a number of promises were made with the residents of border areas but all these promises remained only on papers. Speaking on the occasion, PDP candidate from Jammu-Poonch Lok Sabha seat, Yash Pal Sharma, MLC said that National Conference was mother of all problems. He said that National Conference leadership has befooled people of Jammu and Kashmir since decades and it was high time to teach a lesson to this party. In his address, Yash Pal Bhagat said that he has decided to join PDP due to the policies and programmes of the party. He said that visionary agenda of PDP is the only practical and viable solution of all problems of the state. |
