| JKAEA criticizes adhocism in dept | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Sept 3: Jammu and Kashmir Accounts Employees Association has expressed its concern over prevailing adhocism in the department which has been badly affecting its functioning. According to press release, a meeting of Association was held here under the chairmanship of its President Jasbir Singh Charak. He said that that Director General Accounts and Treasuries and Deputy Director Central are holding the twin posts as per interim arrangement which has severely affecting the smooth functioning of this organization. The association also expressed its deep anguish over delay in regularization of the In-charge, Chief Accounts Officers, Accounts Officers, Assistant Accounts Officers despite lapse of considerable time. Besides promotion orders in favour of those accounts personnel who have passed their mandatory examination have not been issued by the authorities at the helm of affairs despite the fact the sufficient posts are available. The career of the subordinate accounts personnel has come to a standstill due to inordinate delay. The association exhorted the members of accounts service to prepare themselves for launching a forceful protest to achieve their goals as the authorities seem to be reluctant to move the files for the reasons best known to them. |
