UDHAMPUR, Sept 18: Army conducted a two day 'Inter School Students Meet' with an aim to increase the motivation and self confidence among the students of far flung regions of Gulabgarh bowl. This inter school meet comprised of variety of events like Quiz, Debate, Painting, Dancing and Singing was organized on a grand scale. As many as seven schools participated in the meet. Such a student meet was the first of its kind to be organized by the Rashtriya Rifles battalion at Bagga was a very good platform for the school children both boys and girls to showcase their talent on public speaking, quizzing, various individual and group dances. This has enhanced the confidence of the children boosting up their morale to compete at higher levels.
A total of around 70 students from six different schools participated and benefitted from this competition. Healthy debates, nervous quizzing, beautiful painting, traditional and cultural dance and singing programes were the highlights of the event. |
