Jammu, Sept 18: The high level committee constituted by Director School Education, Sourabh Bhagat, today suspended 40 teachers of various schools who were found absent from duty during a surprise inspection. The Committee headed by Joint Director secondary Education, conducted surprise inspection of various schools and ordered suspension of the teaching and non- teaching staff found unauthorizedly absent from duty. At Government Higher Secondary School (Migrant) Jagti, the inspection team suspended 33 staff members, including the Principal as only 7 out of the total forty officials were present. Similarly, at Government Middle School Jagti, 5 out of total 9 staff members were found absent from the duty and were placed under suspension, while 2 staff members were suspended at Government Higher Secondary School Channi Himmat. The team also inspected Government Girls Higher Secondary school and Government Middle School in Nagrota and found all the staff members present.
