| Make university campus Doda functional or face "Assembly march- Chalo Kashmir" | | AISF rejoinder to Govt | | Early Times Report DODA, Sept 18: With the govt's failure to start PG classes in University Campus Doda, which the Govt had promised last year on Oct 20th with the students of Doda when they were on an indefinite hunger strike for 15 days, All India Students Federation has once gain submitted a rejoinder to the government through a memorandum submitted to Distt Administration Doda to make the university Campus Doda functional. The Government's agreement was to start PG classes in Doda Degree College from September this year. The agreement was made by then the Higher Education Minister Abdul Gani Malik through Deputy Commissioner Doda Farooq Ahmed Khan. AISF president Chenab Valley Region Mukesh Parihar said that the Govt has inaugurated the same University Campus thrice but every time it was an eyewash with the students and with the public of Doda. "This time if the govt fails to make the Campus functional before 30th September, then we will be compelled to proceed on a historical foot march from Doda to Kashmir with a slogan "Assembly march- Chalo Kashmir", he said. AISF also submitted the written plea to Governor NN Vohra, Chief Minister Omar Abdullah, Higher Education Minister Mohd Akbar Lone ,Vice Chancellor Jammu University Prof. MP Singh Isher, National President AISF Com Paramjeet S. Dhaban & AISF national general secretary Com Abhay Taksal at New Delhi. AISF Chenab Valley gen secretary Koshal sharma, vice president CVR Pankaj Sharma, distt president Doda Mohd Saleem, gen. secretary Rajinder Singh, vice president Ranbir Singh, distt committee member Rohit Parihar and several others were present on the occasion while submitting the memorandum. |
