Jammu, Sept 20: Congress workers meet was held at Kahtri Palace, Vijaypur under the leadership of Arun Kumar Sharma senior party leader and member Pradesh Congress Committee J&K on Friday.
In a statement a spokesperson of the party said hundreds of Congress workers from different villages of Vijaypur Constituency attend the meeting. During the meeting Congress workers unanimously passed a resolution for the candidature of Arun Sharma as candidate for forthcoming MLA elections.
Speaking on the occasion, Sharma said that he is the worker of Congress and soldier of party and will obey the decision of party regarding the candidature for forthcoming assembly elections.
He also thanked the party workers for attending the meeting. Prominent workers who attended the meeting included Thakur Bishamber Singh, Dr Chhajju Ram, Dr Darshan Singh, Charanjeet Singh, Mani Ram, Dalip Singh, Shamsher Singh, Sardari Lal Varma, Dev Raj, Raj Kumar, Baisakhi Ram, Dr Ram Murti, Capt Bhola Nath, Om Parkash Mahasha, Ramesh Choudhary, Gulshan Lal and Sagar Singh. |
