| MLA Jan reviews Mahan Gurmat Samagam arrangements | | |

POONCH, Sept 20: To finalize arrangements for 4th Mahan Gurmat Samagam at Nangali Sahib Gurdwara, Poonch, the Member Legislative Assembly (MLA) Poonch Ajaz Ahmed Jan convened a review meeting at Poonch.
In the meeting, MLA issued necessary direction to all the officers for completing the arrangements for the two day long Samagam well in time.
In the meeting representatives of Shree Guru Ram Das Ji Sewa Society Poonch highlighted various issues related to water, electricity, medicines and security arrangements which were discussed by the MLA with concerned officers. During the meet, Jan said that Deputy Commissioner Poonch and SSP Poonch will monitor all arrangements so that public particularly Sikh community may not face any problem during two days of Samagam.
He also passed direction to Public Health Engineering Department Executive Engineer to ensure proper supply of water during two days.
Meanwhile Jan has passed direction to Fire Service officers to ensure installation of fire brigade at various places during the Mahan Gurmat Samagam so as to avoid any untoward incident. He also directed Health authorities to depute a doctor, para-medical staff and an ambulance with the Nangli Sahib Gurdwara.
