EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU, Sept 20 : Andrew Price, Chief Commissioner & Chair of the Board of Governors of Scouts Canada honoured Wg Cdr M.M Joshi, Zonal Commissioner, J&K Bharat Scouts & Guides in the 14th World Scout Moot (WSM) 2013 held at Ottawa, Canada. He while honouring Wg Cdr M.M Joshi said that, "It is a very unique opportunity for scouts from every corner of the world to gather around a common ideal, to learn about other cultures & to engage in stimulating experiences that will encourage them to achieve their full potential. This gathering will strengthen their sense of belonging to an International movement of active citizens & enable them to share ideas & knowledge that will benefit their communities, he said. The 14th World Scout Moot was held in Ottawa for the Rovers & Rangers from the age group of 16-25. Wg Cdr M.M Joshi was the only Scouts Commissioner representing India at the 14th World Scout Moot-Canada 2013. He has earlier also attended 21st World Scouts Jamboree centenary celebration of scouting movement held in 2007 at Essex. |
