| Not initiating fast track enquiry against rapists lambasted | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT Jammu, Sept 20 : Young Panthers have expressed resentment over the recent rape cases and the atrocities against women in the state. Giving the reference of the recent rape case of Talwara migrant victim, sr. vice-president Shri Pushvinder Singh Manhas lambasted the police and the administration for not initiating the fast track enquiry against the perpetrators of such heinous crimes. He said that so far arrests of two accused have been against the rape case but one accused is still absconding. Young panthers demanded immediate action against the criminals earliest so that justice is meted out to the innocent victim at the earliest. Pushvinder Singh Manhas lambasted the functioning of the various women rehabilitation homes running in the state and said that the owners/functionaries of the homes in the connivance with the mafia are running the flesh trade across the state. He demanded that a cooperation society should be formed which should include senior citizens, women and the members of civil society with unblemished image which should run such distress centuries and a mechanism should be set to keep regular vigilance an such organizations.
