Parents of Akshay Verma demand handing over investigation to CBI 9/20/2013 9:57:04 PM Early Times Report Jammu, Sept 20: Aggrieved parents of an Indian Administrator Service (IAS) aspirant Akshay Verma- who was found dead in mysterious circumstances on September 24, 2012 have demanded that the case be handed over to CBI and alleged that SIT formed by the GRP was merely an eye wash to help the culprits. While addressing the press conference, Subhash Verma father of the deceased Akshay Verma said that it is very unfortunate that on the part of the J&K govt, that one year has passed nothing has been done in the case. We have been demanding repeatedly and held several protests but the deaf and dumb administration paid no heed to redress our grievances. They urged upon the Chief Minister Omer Abdullah to do the needful so that the cause of death of our son Akshay Verma be made public.
