DB restrains respondents from regularizing adhoc inspector panchayats

Jammu, Oct 2: In a LPA filed by 16 multipurpose workers of Rural Development Department against the judgment of writ court seeking setting aside the judgment of the writ court dismissed the petition of the appellants. A special Division Bench was constitute for hearing this LPA comprising Justice Hasnain Massodi and Justice BL Bhat who after hearing senior advocate SS Lehar with advocate Meharban Singh appearing for the appellant and advocates SK Shukla and Anil Verma appearing for the respondents, issued notice to the respondents and ordered that in the meantime, adhoc appointments to the post of inspector panchayats, if any, made after the judgment of writ court, shall not be regularized and the posts whatever left unfilled till date shall not be filled up till next date of hearing.
