Jammu, Oct 2: Making mockery of rules to facilitate blue eyed candidate, Chief Education Officer (CEO) Poonch refused to comply Director School Education 's order directing verification and cancellation of wrongly accorded promotion to a teacher.
According to documents available with Early Times, a teacher namely Tanwir Begum posted at Government High School Naka Majhari (12th pass) was promoted as Master and adjusted in the same school.
According to documents the qualification of promotee was written as B.A, B Ed. "In the published list of master on July 22, 2013 which was wrongly sent by Head Master and dealing assistant of High School Naka Majhari.
Sources informed, "The Promotee stands at serial number 7 in the published list. On getting information of this fraud , Director School Education, issued an order to CEO Poonch vide communication number SDEJ.NG/18872 date 19-082-13 for verification and cancellation of wrongly accorded promotion within two days ."
At last the authority (CEO) directed Dy CEO Poonch HQ Mendhar for verification. In his reply the Dy CEO Pooch verified the document and quoted that the teacher actually was 12th pass, though she had done Addeb Kamal without passing her English exam.
However, Commissioner Secretary, School Education Department vide his no. 04/EDU of 2012 date 06-02-2013 shows that Addeb Kamal has not been considered equivalent to graduation. Unless English of BA final (I, II, III) be passed from any recognized university.
"Despite verification submitted by DY CEO Poonch vide his no DYCEOP/MDR260 dated 12-09-2013, CEO Poonch neither took any action nor informed the higher authorities", the sources alleged. |
