JAMMU, Oct 2: The LIC of India today inaugurated its social security month celebrations at its Divisional office.
Sr. Divisional Manager, D.C Thakur, was the guest of honor while Assistant Director Sudesh Parihar from handloom department, CDPO and staff members of Pension & Group Schemes (P&GS) Unit Jammu were also present.
DC Thakur asked the gathering to work with zeal and dedication to ensure transparent and accountable services to the public. Chaitanya Sharma, Branch Manager, highlighted importance of social security in the country and threw light on different schemes under the banner of Social Security Month. He highlighted the benefits of the scheme and stressed upon the nodal agencies, artisans, aaganwari workers of social welfare deptt to spread the message of Aam Adami Bima Yojana and social security schemes to the masses.
