| Deputation calls on SSP Udhampur, seeks probe into mysterious death | | | Early Times Report
UDHAMPUR, Oct 2: Demanding a fair probe into the mysterious death of Dharma Pal Sharma, a deputation of village Madda in tehsil Chenani led by father of the deceased Om Parkash Sharma met with SSP Udhampur here today.
The deputation informed the SSP that Dharam Pal Sharma and his younger brother Subash Sharma on March 3 last went to Kud to work as carpenters.
"After finishing their job at about 6.30 pm, my elder son Dharma Pal asked his younger brother to go home and he will come shortly but my elder son did not come to home even at night," Om Parkash said.
Om Parkash further said that the next day, a girl of the locality was grazing goats and saw the dead body of Madan lying in a nallah adding she informed others while the news spread in the locality.
The deputation urged the senior police officer to depute a special team to investigate the mysterious death of Dahram Pal.
SSP Udhampur Anil Magotra immediately directed SHO Kud to look into the matter and report back within two days. |
