Early Times Report Jammu, Oct 5 : Hotel Employees Union (HEU) today dissolved the present executive body of Union, with the promise that new committee would be constituted soon. According to press release, HEU president DR Sharma informed committee members that a NGO gave the membership to Hotel employees on the cost of Rs. 500 and issued Identity cards. "Union has not any concern with the NGO, if any members had take their membership that's own headache", he said. He further said that Union membership was only Rs. 5 and subscription Rs.100 yearly and cash deposit only in Jammu and Kashmir Bank LTD. He assured that the union provided all the facilities and benefits to their employees as security cover, Provident Fund, ESI, Insurance, Bonus, Gratuity, wages under labour legislation and not to indulge in mal-practice by making illegal payments to corrupt officials of enforcing agencies. He added that the union pledged to fight for the rights of employees in hotel industry. |
