EARLY TIMES REPORT Jammu, Oct 5 : Jammu Province People Forum (JPPF) has expressed concern against use of force on the striking employees by the Police who were peacefully demonstrating for redressal of their demands. According to press release, addressing a meeting here today, Pavittar Singh, President of the Forum condemned the Govt invoking draconion laws like ESMA on the peacefully agitating employees. He advised the Govt to shun the path of confrontation, take the employees into confidence and settle the issues raised by them from time to time. "The public is suffering due to delay in the solution of the demands put forth by the employees", he said, demanding that immediate end to the crackdown on the striking employees which is in the interest of both the Govt and its employees. He insisted upon the Govt to solve the long pending demands of the striking employees through mutual understanding. The meeting was attended by Inderjeet Khajuria, Prof Devender Sharma, Kr Narayan Singh and SPS Slathia.
