| 'SMVDSB to take care of Katra:' Dogra Front, Shiv Sena | | | Jammu, Oct 5 : Dogra Front and Shiv Sena today unanimously resolved that handling over all development and other activities of construction to Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board (SMVDSB).
According to press release, Dogra Front and Shiv Sena have said that board should be reconstituted by involving local as the existing system in not having representative character. It was further resolved that the Shrine board should be wholly and solely responsible for Katra also as due to the control of J&K govt in Katra illegal activities tend to take place due to the local authority involvement. High charges of admission in different courses should be stopped immediately.
The leader said that Jammu should be declared as Separate state so that the people of Jammu can get democratic rights. The people of Jammu were treated as second class citizens and were not seen with an equal eye by the govt.
"The youth of Jammu is being deprived from the Job opportunities as all the jobs whether MNC or Government is transferred to Kashmir and the youth of the Jammu remain unemployed. The people of Jammu can only prosper if a separate State is declared", said Ashok Gupta and warned to launch an agitation if the demands are not met. He further said that the rowdy attitude of J&K government towards the army would not be tolerated as the army men have given up their lives to protect the state from the internal as well as external enemy. "The army is paying money to the ministers of Kashmir to maintain communal harmony in the valley. It was for the Indian army who curtailed the scenario in Kishtwar otherwise various precious lives would have been lost due to the hate and communal politics played by the politicians of the valley", he said. |
