Jammu, Oct 5: Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Chhari Poojan was performed at MAM Stadium, following which thousands of devotees participated in the Yatra, which passed through main city and proceeded towards Katra.
According to press release, the Yatra was welcomed by Purani Mandi Traders Association, Raghunath Bazzar Traders Association, City Chowk Traders Association, Kanak Mandi Association, Jewel Chowk Traders Association, Bus stand fraternity and various others who offered their religious practices to the auspicious 'Jot' and took the blessings of the Mata Vaishno Devi.
Ashok Gupta President Dogra Front was Chief organizer with Vikram Sharma, Narendra Tangri, Suresh Kumar, Lal Singh, Subash Gupta who also addressed the function.
