Early Times Report Jammu, Oct 26: Jammu and Kashmir Motor Transport Companies Association (JKMTCA) today sought state government's support for its revival. Addressing the press conference S. Surinder Singh Kala, convener of the new committee, called upon all sections of society to cooperate with the new committee constituted by Mahant Manjeet Singh Ji and said that all the members of the committee including would work whole heatedly to restore JKMTCA to its past glory. He assured that in a span of couple of months the industry would see its golden days once again. Singh appealed to various organizations including traders, chamber of commerce, associations of industries and all government departments to henceforth requisition their transport requirements through the new union. He declared that come what may they would not allow the violations of law and no vehicle would be allowed to transport goods beyond nine metric tonnes and without a duty slip of JKMTCA. |
