| The SVC suggestions are | | | i) Integrity of the officials needs to be ensured before transferring/posting them to BOPEE;
ii) Duration of stay of the posted officials should not exceed two years;
iii) Short term orientation training should be imparted to the BOPEE officials to acquaint them fully with procedures of conducting Entrance Examinations fairly and in a transparent manner. For this purpose assistance of National Board of Examinations can be taken which has gained reputation in the conduct of Entrance Examinations over the years.
iv) Videography for entire duration of exams at the examinations centers viz Srinagar and Jammu should be done and preserved on the pattern of exams conducted various reputed agencies at National and International Level. This procedure is being followed by National Board of Examinations (NBE ) for conduct of All India Post Graduate Medical Entrance Examination (AIPGMEE) and Diplomate of National Board (DNB) Examination etc. throughout the country. CBSE also ensured Videography of entire duration of Medical Entrance Test (NEET) conducted throughout the country;
v) Digital photographs of the students be taken at the entry points of the examination centers for proper screening on the lines of NBE and CBSE;
vi) Steps be taken to gradually shift to online examination on the pattern of GMAT/NEET/DNB/AIPGMEE for admission to MBBS, MD & Engineering etc. |
