Jammu, Oct 26: Two days workshop on "Youth Expression and Leadership Programme" organized by Government SPMR College of Commerce in collaboration with YAKJHA, an NGO concluded here today.
Ashima Kaul, Dr. Stanzin Saldan, Ajay Singh, Murtaza Jaffer and Danyal Pathan were resource persons on the occasion. They focused on building of common grounds for restoring peace while knowing the self through this workshop. They also conducted various activities through which they highlighted aspects of perception, respect for the individual being. As many as 34 students from 8 colleges of Jammu city participated in the workshop. The students were also made aware of their role in the world peace process.
Prof. JL Bhagat, the principal of the college in his address on the valedictory function appreciated the enthusiasm and encouraged the students to participate in such activities. He also lauded the department of English for their effort and hard work in making this workshop a success. |
