Jammu, Oct 26: 41st Jawahar Lal Nehru National Science, Mathematics and Environment Exhibition 2013-14 culminated in K.V.No.2 Jammu Cantt. today.
15 projects from three clusters were selected to be sent to K.V.No.1 Gandhi Nagar Jammu for the Regional Level Exhibition on 28th October 2013.
Two students, Rishu Verma of K.V.Miransahib and Anant Bansal of K.V.No.2 Jammu Cantt. were adjudged as 1st and 2nd respectively in Maths Seminar.
A quiz competition was conducted and team A comprising of 4 students namely Anant Bansal and Mrinal of K.V. No.2 Jammu Cantt., Nikhil of K.V.Nagrota and Avish Verma of K.V.No.1 Gandhi Nagar topped the show.
The guests of honour on the occasion were G.D.Singh and Surjeet Singh, PRL scientists at IIIM Jammu. In their speech they laid stress on such exhibitions which give opportunity to children to develop scientific approach and creativity. |
